Gamelan Encinal to perform in Music in the Fault Zone, and Rhythmic Landscapes events
We are excited to be back from a forced hiatus where we were unable to be in the same room together with the instruments! We would love to have you come out to an actual space to see us and hear us play! Gamelan Encinal will be performing on April 21st as part of the Music in the Fault Zone concert series at Mills College. We are in the 4 pm show in Lisser Hall! We will be playing Haikai by John Cage, and Snowlight by Daniel Schmidt
We will also be performing a full length concert at 2 pm on Sunday, April 24th at UMA Gallery! This performance will include an arrangement of a Charles Mingus piece, A piece by Jake Parker Scott, a bevy of traditional pieces, and more! There is a yoga class earlier in the day at UMA, so one could do yoga and chill for our concert! more info at the links below-
